BODY :- The body is made out of alloyed cast iron for strength and wear resistance. Guide ways in body are of heavy pattern which ensures resistance to distortion under adverse working conditions.
JAWS :- The same are manufactured out of case hardening steel and are properly heat treated in automatically controlled electric furnaces.

SCREWS :- The same have acme threads for strength which ensure resistance to breakage under the heaviest gripping forces. The same are heat treated for durability.

THRUST BEARINGS:- chucks from size 200mm diameter have double thrust bearings of robust proportions. The same are also heat treated which ensure long service life.

Operating key :- The same is heat treated for high strength.
